Formed originally in 1990 under the name of Crisis Management Company. Its expressed purpose was saving companies and jobs. What in management has been called turnarounds has been the mainstay of the business. As it grew, CMC also became involved in the startup and growth needs of companies. As such, and, to more closely reflect the expanding needs of its clients, the name was changed some years ago to Management 2000, Inc. 2000, Inc. (M2000). Management 2000's experience in recognizing and correcting business crisis situations put it in a uniquely qualified position to redirect companies away from trouble as they plan for future successes. We've seen both sides.
Risk & Loss
Although historically a result of organizational and operational issues, today's risk and loss can just as easily be the result of computer-based crimes. The theft or damage to Electronically Stored Information (ESI) such as intellectual property, trade secrets, and/or personally identifiable information on customers or employees can result in immediate and long-term losses. This can have a financially debilitating impact on a company. To meet this challenge, M2000 has created a separate division (M2000/IS) which focuses on computer forensic investigations and in identifying and correcting vulnerabilities.
All of the staff of M2000 has been at the level of Owner, President, VP Manufacturing, Chief Financial Officer, Director - Management Training or VP Sales and Marketing of a company. There are no junior personnel at M2000 — only seasoned executives. They have all sat in the executive seat and know intimately the concerns an owner or executive takes home at night. We employ executives under a unique dual expertise criterion; all executives must have multiple areas of skilled disciplines. It is not uncommon to have a VP of Manufacturing who additionally carries both CPA and MBA credentials helping our clients.
Thanks to our dual expertise employment criteria, M2000 executives are able to examine a company from the front door to the back. Our process dictates complete due diligence — organizationally, financially and operationally. We look at the company as a whole and then determine from that view what plan will best guide you in reaching specific and measurable goals. Of critical importance is that M2000 executives are capable of achieving sought after results in a relatively near-immediate time frame. M2000 understands that the small to medium sized company of today does not have the luxury of time, nor in many instances cash, with which to change or validate their company's direction. Finally, and key to our success for our clients, is that we develop an exhaustive implementation plan which M2000 executives implement.
